The focus is on credible, technically traceable content about cameras, lenses, analogue photography, accessories, photographic technique, nature photography and photography locations.
Advertising and editorial content are clearly separated. Financial compensation, free products, loan equipment, travel support or any other consideration is disclosed transparently. A collaboration guarantees neither a positive verdict nor publication without an agreed and actually delivered scope of work.

¶ Possible Review Process
- Define the product, version and included items.
- Agree on the review objective and intended application.
- Clarify the loan period, return, insurance and shipping.
- Document the condition of the product on arrival.
- Create original photographs under transparent conditions.
- Separate manufacturer information from personal observations.
- Verify technical facts before publication.
- Publish the article with disclosure of the collaboration.
- Make post-publication corrections only for demonstrable factual errors.
¶ Editorial Principles
- The collaboration partner is not guaranteed a positive verdict.
- Strengths and limitations are given equal consideration.
- Personal experience is not presented as a universally valid laboratory measurement.
- The partner may check technical facts in advance but has no right to make the content artificially favourable.
- Unpublished information is treated confidentially only under a separate agreement and until the agreed date.
- Comparison products are mentioned only where the comparison is objectively meaningful.
¶ 5. Paid Advertising and Sponsored Content
Paid advertising may take the form of a standalone article or a clearly separated notice within a relevant subject page. Permanent placement is offered only when the content, topicality and reader interest remain valid over the longer term.
Possible services include a clearly labelled manufacturer or product article, a partner notice, temporary prominence on an overview page, presentation of an event, a combined wiki and portfolio publication, or creation and licensing of suitable photographs.
The following are not offered: undisclosed advertising, purchased positive reviews, fabricated test results or editorially irrelevant link placements.
Editorial boundary: Payment may finance the agreed production and publication, but it cannot buy a particular review result. Promotional content is never presented as an independent review.
¶ 6. Affiliate Links
Affiliate links may generate a commission when a reader makes a purchase or completes another agreed action. Whether the price, discount or conditions differ depends on the individual programme and is not promised in general.

Current status: This page does not claim that an affiliate programme is currently in operation. A specific programme will be published only after a contract, privacy review and technical implementation.
Privacy before technology: Affiliate networks, pixels, cookies or similar access to terminal equipment do not become permissible merely through a transparency notice. ¶ 7. Image Licensing and Content Creation
Existing or newly produced photographs may be licensed for manufacturer websites, specialist articles, brochures, catalogues, trade-fair presentations, tourism information, exhibitions, social media or online campaigns.
Use is permitted only after a written agreement defining the specific image, purpose, medium, territory, duration, print run or reach, editing rights, photographer credit, exclusivity, fee and payment conditions.
¶ 8. Transparency and Labelling
Commercial content is labelled so that its purpose is apparent before or when it is opened. Depending on the collaboration, notices may include Advertising, Advertisement, Paid collaboration with …, Review sample provided on loan by …, Product provided free of charge by …, Affiliate link – a purchase may generate a commission, or Travel or event supported by ….
German DDG section 6 addresses the identifiability of commercial communications and the person or organisation on whose behalf they are made. German UWG section 5a(4) addresses disclosure of the commercial purpose of a commercial practice. The appropriate wording and position depend on the individual case.

Examples are not an automatic legal assessment: Position, wording, visibility and duration must fit the actual format. A hidden notice at the bottom of a clearly commercial page is not a reliable transparency concept.

- Advertising is separated visually and linguistically from editorial content.
- Payment does not influence the result of an independent review.
- Factual errors may be corrected; critical assessments are not removed in exchange for payment.
- Manufacturer information, external reviews and personal experience are identified separately.
- Collaborations must relate to photography and fit the profile of the wiki.
- The protection of nature and wildlife takes priority over commercial benefit.
- Readers’ personal data are not shared with partners without a legal basis.

¶ 11. Reach and Media Data
Media data are provided only using actual measurements with a clearly defined period. They may later include page views, unique visitors, principal subjects, landing pages, search-engine traffic, average time on page and the reach of complementary publications.
Still to be added: reliable statistics, measurement period and analysis method. Until then, no promises about audience reach are made. An individual quotation is based on content, work, usage rights and duration—not fabricated visitor numbers.
Do not present estimated reach as measured data: Figures are published only with a period, method and traceable source. Personal or device-based analytics will be introduced only after a privacy and consent review.
¶ 12. Prices and Quotations
There is currently no public fixed-price list. Work varies according to the review period, research, photographic production, text length, placement duration and usage rights. An individual quotation may cover services, publication location and duration, editorial and photographic work, travel costs, usage rights, disclosure, correction and acceptance procedure, and payment terms.
Publication takes place only after service, consideration and disclosure have been agreed unambiguously.
